REGISTRATION FOR 2018/2019 ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE

This is to inform all candidates, who applied for admission into Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry for the 2018/2019 academic session, to register for the Aptitude Test and Direct Entry Admission Screening Exercise.

A.     ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION

1.      These are candidates who have chosen KUST, Wudil, as First Choice and have a score for each course as indicated belowin the 2018 UTME as follows:

2.      KUST,Wudil First Choice candidates, who applied for admission into Computer Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology and Microbiology with UTME score less than what is stated above,are expected to change to relevant and suitable course of their choice in JAMB website.

3.      All changes in JAMB website must be effected within two (2) weeks from Monday, 30th July to Friday, 10th August, 2018.

4.      The Direct Entry candidates who have chosen KUST, Wudil as First Choice and have at least Lower Credit at National Diploma or a minimum of Seven (7) points in NCE or IJMBE in relevant course or subject combination respectively are eligible to register.

B.      PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION

1.      Candidates shall visit any Zenith Bank Plc Branch and make payment of non-refundable fee of N2,000:00(being cost of the screening) to Account Number 1130019452,collect PIN Voucher from the Bank and then visit the University website www.kustwudil.edu.ng. to apply.

2.      Candidates can also make online payment through the University website www.kustwudil.edu.ng.

3.      On the homepage, under ‘ADMISSION’ click on ‘Undergraduate’.

4.      Go to UTME or DE icon and click on ‘New User’ and then Fill in the Application Form.

5.      Click on submit after completing the application form.

6.      Candidates can print his/her acknowledgment slip.

7.       Candidates shall uploadtheir O’Level results (NECO, WAEC or NABTEB) in not more than two sittings on theUniversity Portal and JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

C.      INFORMATION TO NOTE:

1.   Payment for registration will commence on Monday 13^th and closes on Friday 24^thAugust, 2018.

2.   The Portal for registration and printing of acknowledgement slip will be open from Monday, 13^thAugust, 2018 and closes by mid-night of Sunday,26^thAugust, 2018.

3.   The dates for the Admission Screening Exercise is as follows:

                                               i.            Aptitude Test for UTME candidates is to hold onSaturday, 1^stSeptember, 2018at the University Campus, Wudil as follows:

Ø   Morning session: 8:00 am to 11:00 am

Ø   Afternoon session: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

                                          ii.               Direct Entry screening is to hold onSaturday, 8^th September, 2018at the University Campus, Wudil by 9:00am prompt.

4. UTME Candidates should come along with the Acknowledgement Slip for 2018 Admission Screening Exercise, 2018 JAMB UTME Result Slip and HB Pencil.

5.  Direct Entry candidates should come with the original and photocopies of their credentials,  2018 JAMB Direct Entry Registration Slip and Acknowledgement Slip for 2018 Admission Screening Exercise.         

6.  Candidates should note that only those who register within the stipulated period and attend the aptitude test/screening exercise will be considered for admission.
